MIG Welder

We are seeking a MIG Welder to join our team, responsible for welding on various projects including parts for the agricultural, military defense, and material handling equipment industries. The majority of projects will be mild steel materials, but occasional projects could include stainless steel and aluminum materials. You will also be given the opportunity to obtain welding certifications from a CWI while employed where you will gain a AWS D1.1 and State of Wisconsin welding certifications.

Shift: 1st shift hours (flexible schedule available)

Responsibilities

• Perform custom and production welding projects on various materials
• MIG weld materials ranging 1/8" to 1"+ in thickness based on projects
• Work from blueprints to ensure projects are built to specifications
• Use overhead cranes to lift and rotate projects during building process
• Learn to welding mild steel as well stainless-steel and aluminum materials as well

Requirements

• 1-2+ years of welding experience OR Welding Degree required
• Experience working from blueprints and weld symbols
• Experience with aluminum preferred

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
