Senior Estimator – Rail Location: Enfield Salary: £100,000+ Regions: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, East Anglia, Essex, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Kent, London, Midlands, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Southern England, Surrey, Sussex Pinnacle Recruitment is assisting a Tier 1 main contractor in the City of London to find an experienced Senior Estimator (Major Projects). The role focuses on overseeing major tenders for high‑profile projects across Commercial, Residential, Heavy Civils and Rail. Responsibilities Lead and manage major tenders, ensuring a smooth process from brief to submission. Collaborate with the Estimating Director and other stakeholders to develop accurate cost estimates. Maintain effective communication with project teams and external partners. Ensure compliance with project delivery standards and client expectations. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with a main contractor. Proven track record tendering on projects exceeding £50 m. Strong knowledge of the estimator role and overall tendering process. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
