Job Description

Job Summary:

Evaluate, operate, and maintain CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images that assist physicians in detecting and monitoring medical conditions. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging procedure.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and positioning them accurately.
• Operate CT imaging equipment according to established protocols to obtain high-quality images.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Monitor patients during scans for adverse reactions and provide immediate assistance if needed.
• Follow safety guidelines to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
• Have at least 1 year of experience in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating multi-slice CT scanners and related imaging software.
• Hold current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Possess strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
