Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist provides outpatient therapy services in an acute care and long-term care facility setting. This role involves evaluating and treating patients of all ages and diagnoses, including specialties such as wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatrics. Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility (SNF) therapy services.
- Treat patients with diverse diagnoses, including pediatrics and adolescents.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans using Epic electronic medical records.
- Provide specialty therapy services such as wound care, lymphedema management, and pelvic floor therapy.
- Assist in coverage across outpatient, acute care, and SNF settings as needed.
- Current Physical Therapist license in Alaska.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience.
- Ability to provide care across outpatient, acute care, and SNF environments.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably Epic.
- Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations.
- Knowledge of wound care, lymphedema, and pelvic floor therapy.
- Experience in a critical access hospital or similar acute care setting.
- No on-call requirements.
- Traveler may be asked to float within scope to cover outpatient, acute care, and SNF needs.
- Facility is a Level IV Trauma and Critical Access Hospital.
- Strict housing policies: pets not allowed, housing available shortly before and after contract dates, and traveler responsible for cleaning upon departure.
- Parking is free; professional or business casual attire required.
- Five 8-hour day shifts per week.
- Guaranteed 70 hours per two-week period.
- No weekend shifts required.
- Block scheduling is not accommodated.
