Utility Technician

Conduct pest inspections and perform pest control services for residential and commercial clients Install and maintain termite control systems Install Thermal Acoustical Pest Control insulation Prepare and clean up job sites Assist with light construction projects, minor repairs, and replacements related to pest damage Communicate services and pest-control guidance to customers Perform exclusion services and wildlife removal Set up and build exclusion traps Follow safety protocols during service delivery Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations Participate in training Complete production forms documenting services provided Safely remove animals trapped in exclusion devices Work from rooftops in a safety harness as needed Requirements High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid driver’s license from state of residence Clean shaven face for respirator safety Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills Basic math skills, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to follow product-label mixing instructions Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations Ability to work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals Ability to work in tight, confined spaces and both inside and outside in the local climate Ability to move up to 50 pounds Ability to maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain equipment cleanliness Customer-facing experience preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in pest control services, including inspections, termite control systems, and wildlife removal, while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining effective communication with clients.
