Tax Manager - Corporate Tax

Overview Baker Tilly is a leading advisory, tax, and assurance firm with a global presence. This Corporate Tax Manager role is located in Irvine, California and focuses on middle‑market corporate clients. Responsibilities Provide tax, accounting, and advisory services to middle‑market corporate clients. Oversee accounting, bookkeeping, and prepared or compiled financials. Review and analyze accounting records, provide analysis and consultation. Deliver best‑in‑class customer service and maintain professional communication. Lead and plan client engagements; evaluate processes and implement efficiencies and internal controls. Provide recommendations for business and process improvements. Manage and build client relationships, act as liaison to address and resolve client issues. Delegate and oversee work efforts, setting goals and scheduling deadlines. Maintain current knowledge of tax practices and laws. Assist with engagement staffing, billing/collections, and ensure profitability. Network to build strong relationships internally and externally. Support growth and development of team members. Qualifications 4‑year degree and CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent certification. 5+ years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting, and advisory services in a professional services firm. At least 2 years of supervisory experience, mentoring associates. Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant tax software. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is $111,000 to $145,710, with additional compensation and benefits available to eligible employees.
