Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Coral Springs, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while bringing a caring, reliable, and innovative approach to every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical calls, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism during armed post assignments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document observations, incidents, and/or daily activities in accordance with site expectations.
• Support law enforcement, first responders, and site leadership during alarms, emergencies, and/or investigations while following Allied Universal and site-specific armed post procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of arm security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year armed related experience.
• An armed guard card is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
