Associate Designer

The Associate Designer will contribute to the execution of seasonal lines as well as chase programs for our men's and children's underwear and loungewear business. The role involves creating artwork for all over patterns, trims, and place graphics, reviewing PP/TOP submits, and communicating with vendors on development of programs.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Responsibilities:Prepare CADs for internal and retailer presentations, as well as for licensor approval.Contribute to the designs of assigned brand, which includes maintaining color card and designing prints and patternsCreate trim and artwork pages for tech packsCreate technical garment sketches for tech packsCommunicate with suppliers on development issues including submits, comments and approvalsParticipating in fittings alongside Technical Design teamCollaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Sourcing, Technical Design and SalesAttend trend seminars and fabric showsShop and research the market quarterlyOrganize, tag, and prep samples for line review and mail-out to retailersCreate physical color cards for presentationsQualifications:Education in Fashion Design2+ years of Design experienceExperience in men's and/or children's apparelExperience in Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with knits; experience designing underwear is a plusStrong sense of color and color assortingPLM experience a plusExperience with prints preferredAbility to work with a team in a fast paced and high-volume atmosphereAirtable experience a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAnnual salary range is starting at $60,000+The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package. xhyhwjd Our associates have access to other valuable benefits that our Human Resources team is happy to share with candidates during the interview process.
