Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency room environment
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective treatment
• Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols as required
• Document patient care accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Some trauma experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience working in a high-acuity or Level I/II trauma emergency department
