Heavy Equipment OperatorWe are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery used in construction, excavation, and site development projects. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.Duties/Responsibilities:Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, loaders, haul trucks, scrapers and rollers.Perform daily inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.Monitor and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.Follow site plans and instructions from site supervisors to complete tasks accurately and on schedule.Ensure compliance with quality and environmental regulations.Safely load and unload materials and equipment.Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations.Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Essential Requirements:Must be willing and able to travel out of town, and/or out of state to work on job sites.Must have reliable transportation.Align with our company core values of Better Every Day, Mindful in Everything, Humble Hearts/Open Hands and Everyone Matters.Must have good work ethics: Be on time, work hard and willing to learn.Must be able to pay high degree of attention to safety and promote a safe work environment.Possesses keen observation skills; pays attention to and remembers work related instructions, demonstrations, and procedures.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to prioritize tasks.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with GPS or automated control systems on equipment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, and site plans.BenefitsCompetitive Salary – Paid WeeklyMedical Health Insurance Benefits after 30 daysVision & Dental InsuranceLife Insurance Programs401k after 6 months of service plus company matchCorporate Giving MatchVacation/Paid Time Off after 120-day probationary periodEqual Opportunity Employer
