Groundskeeper/Janitor

Red River Brick is the premiere brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S. Drawing its name from the Red River of the South, Red River Brick includes eight production sites across key brick markets in Texas and Oklahoma, with more than 70 unique residential and commercial design offerings distributed through eight direct retail centers. RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean cement mixer and block machine/press at the end of shift Remove built-up concrete and debris from equipment Maintain cleanliness of plant grounds, including picking up trash and debris Clean and maintain restrooms, break rooms, and office areas Sweep, mop, and wash floors in plant and common areas Empty trash cans and dispose of waste properly Assist with basic maintenance tasks as needed Keep walkways and work areas clear and safe Support the team with general housekeeping throughout the plant EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED required EXPERIENCE: Prior janitorial or groundskeeping experience is a plus, but not required Reliable and able to work independently Strong attention to detail Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment Ability to perform physical work (lifting, walking, bending, etc.) SKILLS REQUIRED: Varying degrees of physical labor General Shale offers a comprehensive benefits package, including, but not limited to: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance and Vacation plans.
