Assembly Technician

Assembler / Mechanical Assembler / Maintenance TechnicianAssemble components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.Read and interpret blueprints, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly.Operate hand and power tools, including torque wrenches, to assemble products to specification.Conduct quality inspections to verify proper fit, alignment, and product functionality.Inspect incoming materials and identify defective or non-conforming parts.Follow all workplace safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or a related production environment preferred.Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment.Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for extended periods.High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Pay Rate: $20-$22 per hourSchedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PMThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD.The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
