We are currently building our caregiver team for assignments throughout Queens and surrounding areas. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping seniors remain comfortable, independent, and engaged in their own homes.
ResponsibilitiesProvide companionship and conversation
Spend quality time with clients and help reduce loneliness and isolation
Assist with light housekeeping and keeping the client's living area tidy
Prepare or assist with simple meals
Accompany clients on walks, errands, shopping, or appointments when needed
Provide medication reminders
Assist with basic daily routines
Observe and report concerns or changes to the appropriate family member or supervisor
Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for the client
Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful
Comfortable working with seniors
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently in a client's home
Previous companion, senior care, home care, or caregiving experience is preferred but not required
Reliable transportation is a plus
Must be authorized to work in the United States
