Facilities and Maintenance Manager

Overview Van‑Am Tool & Engineering is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our onsite manufacturing facility in St. Joseph, Missouri. This is a salaried leadership role supporting high‑quality aerospace and defense work in a fast‑paced, team‑driven environment. Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day maintenance activities, facility systems, and equipment reliability across our manufacturing operations. Ensure maintenance work is performed safely, efficiently, and in support of production and quality goals tied to critical aerospace programs. Provide hands‑on leadership and rely on experience in metal manufacturing maintenance for success in this role. Manage preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate repairs and improvements, and work closely with operations and engineering to minimize downtime. Apply knowledge of industrial maintenance practices to keep equipment and building systems operating reliably in a demanding manufacturing environment serving aerospace customers. Qualifications Hands‑on leadership and experience in metal manufacturing maintenance. Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices to support reliable operation of equipment and building systems.
