Physician Hospitalist - Competitive Salary

Hospitalists needed in the Central Valley, CA area

Join a Hospitalist group offering block schedules. They have 2 Hospitalist positions available working 7am-7pm in a 400+ bed Level II trauma center. They have an open ICU with both Hospitalists and Pulmonary Critical Care physicians staffing the ICU. They work 16 shifts per month and see 16-18 patients per physician a day. They average 2-3 discharges a day. They have 10-12 Physicians on day shift. Overall patient census for the Hospital is 180-200.

The Hospitalists are given a 20k signing bonus and receive a very competitive shift pay, plus an additional 15k in bonus and admission bonuses. The Hospital contributes 7% of annual income toward the Physicians Pension plan. They also offer a complete benefits package and relocation assistance.

The practice is located less than one hour to Sacramento and 1.5 hours east of San Francisco. The community offers reasonable housing, good schools and driving access to the city, ocean and mountains. This opportunity does not offer Visa sponsorship.
