Logistics Coordinator

Job Title: Logistics CoordinatorJob Location: San Francisco, CaliforniaWe have an exciting opportunity for a LOGISTICS COORDINATOR who will be responsible for coordinating the movement of customers’ goods, data entry and customer service. In addition, you will prepare, issue and submit documents necessary to complete the shipping process and provide clients with advice concerning terms of delivery. The position will be in our San Francisco DHL Global Forwarding facility.Key Responsibilities:Coordination between all applicable parties for domestic, export & import shipments while ensuring service commitments are achieved and maintained in accordance with client and company objectives.Prepare, issue and submit documents necessary to complete the shipping process and provide clients with advice concerning terms of delivery, payment, insurance and all other freight services.Ensure that invoices for the services rendered are completed accurately and, in a timeframe, consistent with company policy.Tracking, tracing and document imaging functions.Customer service and updating of customer profiles.Data entry utilizing many software systems Skills / Requirements:US Citizen - Mandatory1-5 years in International LogisticsExperience is Air Freight and Ocean Freight ServicesDefense Counterintelligence Security Agency T3 Clearance (DCSA) preferred but will need to go through application process once hired.Government contracts and ITAR experience requiredProven track record in customer serviceExceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentations)Proficient computer skills: Microsoft (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook, Teams)Knowledge of Cargo Wise system is plusPay Range: $28.64 - $38.19 / hour (commensurate with experience)Benefits (All Non-Union Employees)Compensation: Competitive base salary plus role dependent performance-based incentives.401(k) Match: $1-for-$1 match up to 4% quarterly + 2% annual base contribution.Stock Purchase Plan: Ability to purchase Deutsche Post AG shares at a discounted rate.Medical: Comprehensive plans covering preventive care, inpatient/outpatient services, and prescriptions.Vision: Optional coverage for exams, frames, and contacts.Dental: Optional coverage for preventive, basic, and major services.Paid Time Off: 7 major holidays, 8 floating holidays, and accrued vacation/sick days.Why Join DHL Global Forwarding?At DHL Global Forwarding, we invest in our employees’ growth, providing training, guidance, and career advancement opportunities.
