Job Location Rockhurst University - Kansas City, MO 64110 Job Details Rockhurst University is seeking applications for a Cheer Coach. Responsibilities Attend cheer events, including presence at practices, RU home games, special events, and cheer competitions. Evaluate academically and athletically qualified student-athletes for recruitment. Plan and implement instructional practices that maximize the talent and potential of student-athletes, while instilling values such as sportsmanship, leadership, and personal wellness. Demonstrate the ability to relate to, and motivate, student-athletes and to work with a variety of University staff, alumni, and the outside community. Promote the mission of the Athletic Department and Rockhurst University. Qualifications Excellent leadership and communication skills. Time management skills. Minimum 2 years of cheer coaching experience. Preferred: cheer coaching and/or participation at the collegiate level. Bachelor’s Degree.
