Lead Patient Account Specialist-Call Center
The Lead Patient Account Specialist provides excellent support to department employees by answering questions, providing necessary coaching, and performing quality assurance audits. The Lead works closely with the offshore team by collaborating on calibration and audit activities as well as responsible for basic Customer Service duties: Handles incoming/outgoing customer calls and reroutes calls to appropriate departments. Provides product/services healthcare information, resolves issues, and ensures customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years supervisory call center/healthcare customer service experience.
- Education: High School or equivalent.
- Requirements: Experience with acute care medical billing, explanation of benefits, and collections. Computer proficiency: Microsoft Works, Excel, and database entry. Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain patient under pressure. Strong problem-solving skills.
