Maverick Motorsports is seeking to hire a talented, highly motivated, customer oriented Salesperson join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and assist customers with motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, products and servicers offered, focusing on features and benefits
• Study characteristics, capabilities, and features between models
• Demonstrate motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs by explaining characteristics, capabilities, features, warranties, service; taking demo rides
• Project positive image and demeanor to customer at all times
• Ensure that customer experience meets company quality standards
• Assist in the presentation of the showroom and sales lot
• Invoice and collect payment from customers for services rendered
• Close sales: asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing
• Maintain customer records and enter data into computer databases
• Stay up-to-date on our current inventory and use that knowledge to encourage customers to make a purchase; new and used products.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Working knowledge and experience of motorsports products, repairs and parts
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs to other staff members
• Basic knowledge of computer programs including word processing and database tools
• Organizational skills including the ability to schedule appointments, meet with customers and ensure customer satisfaction
• Exceptional customer service skills based on experience
• Basic mathematics skills to prepare and process sales
• 1+ years experience in retail sales and/or previous dealership sales preferred

PHYSICAL FACTORS/WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
