Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

This role combines forklift operation with hands-on production work in a fast-paced warehouse and yard environment. You will spend approximately half of your time operating forklifts to move materials and products, and the other half supporting production activities to maintain consistent output and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently for approximately 50% of the workday.
• Pick customer orders from the outside yard and ensure accurate selection of materials.
• Transport materials and components to production areas as needed to support continuous operations.
• Store finished products in designated locations and maintain organized warehouse inventory.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or yard environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and accuracy.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating stand-up forklifts.
• Experience in shipping and receiving activities.

Work Environment

The position involves working in both indoor and outdoor areas, with most time spent outdoors in the yard moving product. The environment includes active production areas, frequent truck loading and unloading, and regular physical activity such as standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
