As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Florence, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor customer and employee activity, assist with access control practices, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards to the appropriate contacts.
- Support loss prevention and store operations by observing high-traffic areas, helping with crowd management, and providing visible presence during busy business hours and special events.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
