Landscape Foreman

Augusta Country Club in Augusta, GA is seeking a dedicated Landscape Foreman to lead and assist supervising a crew of 7 employees. The Landscape Foreman will be responsible for assisting in overseeing all landscaping activities on the Grounds, ensuring that maintenance is carried out to the highest standards. This individual will work closely with the Landscape Superintendent to develop and implement landscaping plans that enhance the beauty and functionality of the course. The Landscape Foreman will provide guidance and direction to the crew, assigning tasks, and ensuring that work is completed efficiently and effectively. Additionally, this role will involve monitoring equipment and supplies, as well repairing and troubleshooting irrigation issues as they arise. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in landscaping with the ability to assist in a leadership capacity. A passion for the outdoors and knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and turf management are essential. The Landscape Foreman should possess excellent communication skills, be able to motivate and lead a team, and have a keen eye for detail. A degree in horticulture or a related field is preferred but not necessary. The Landscape Foreman must be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure. This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and a commitment to upholding the club's standards of excellence in course and property aesthetics.
