Shipshewana, IN 46565, USA Description FIRST SHIFT POSITION Sets up and changes dies in heavy duty power presses according to changes in production schedule. - Transport dies to and from die storage, die repair, and individual presses. - Maintain the responsibilities and essential functions of a press operator when needed. - Install, position, and align dies in press bed. - Adjust the stroke of ram and punches to specified depth and stroke. - Utilizing standard parameters adheres to and verifies part acceptance standards and verifies part quality. - Start the machine to produce sample parts for inspection. - Performs small maintenance repairs as needed. - Adheres to all safety regulations. - Performs other essential functions as assigned. Requirements 0-5 Years of experience in a MFG /Press environment Qualifications Skills Preferred Intermediate Intermediate Crane Intermediate Computer Literate Some Knowledge Behaviors Detail Oriented Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Team Player Works well as a member of a group Dedicated Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Motivations Growth Opportunities Inspired to perform well by the chance to take on more responsibility Flexibility Inspired to perform well when granted the ability to set your own schedule and goals Education Preferred High School / GED or better.
