Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Marketing Specialist with a focus on communications to join our team in the life insurance industry. This role will drive strategic and engaging messaging, ensuring that our communications resonate with target audiences and align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing communications, a strong understanding of best marketing practices, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that inspire trust and confidence.

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

• Develop and execute strategic marketing and communication plans that support business objectives, strengthen brand awareness, and drive customer engagement. 
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels, including digital, print, social media, website content, and events. 
• Create, curate, and manage a variety of marketing content, including brochures, email campaigns, newsletters, press releases, blog articles, video scripts, and other marketing materials tailored to diverse audiences. 
• Oversee website content management to ensure information remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals. 
• Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns that promote products, services, and company initiatives. 
• Utilize customer insights, market research, and audience segmentation to develop customer personas and create targeted, personalized marketing strategies. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Underwriting, Strategy, Compliance, and other business partners, to ensure alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives. 
• Provide guidance, leadership, and oversight to internal team members and external vendors, agencies, or consultants as needed. 
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing communications and campaigns through data analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting. 
• Prepare competitive analyses, performance reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders and senior leadership. 
• Leverage analytics and business insights to identify opportunities, optimize future marketing efforts, and measure return on investment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing or communications, preferably in the financial or insurance industry.
• Demonstrated knowledge of marketing strategy, brand management, and integrated communications.
• Experience developing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, and web platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with marketing automation, email marketing, content management systems (CMS), and analytics platforms.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex business concepts into clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate messaging.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, measure campaign effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive, customer-focused, and results-oriented approach.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate a highly regulated business environment.
• Experience managing external vendors, agencies, or consultants preferred.
• Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, or related professional certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.
