Whether our clients are seeking to fund growth or optimize their capital structures, we collaborate with them and determine all available options prior to implementing the optimum strategy.The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Vice President/Director will be responsible for managing and executing equity capital raising transactions for corporate clients across a variety of sectors. This individual will focus on origination, execution, and client advisory for offerings such as IPOs, follow-ons, private placements, and convertible securities. The role requires a high degree of market knowledge, execution experience, and client engagement to successfully structure and place transactions in dynamic market environments.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the origination and execution of ECM transactions, including IPOs, secondary offerings, and private placementsCollaborate closely with senior bankers to develop and pitch capital-raising solutions to clientsConduct market analysis and equity valuation to support transaction strategyDevelop offering memoranda, pitch materials, investor presentations, and roadshow materialsAdvise clients on transaction structure, pricing, and market timingCoordinate with legal, accounting, syndicate, and institutional sales teams to ensure seamless executionMaintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and legal advisorsActively monitor equity capital markets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risksProvide mentorship and guidance to junior team membersRepresenting Cabrera Capital at client meetings, industry conferences, and events to enhance brand presenceAll other duties as assignedManagement & Decision Making ResponsibilitiesIndependently lead transaction execution processesExercise discretion and sound judgment in structuring deals and client advisoryQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in investment banking, preferably in ECM or related capital marketsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 79, and Series 63 required (or within 5 months of hire)Strong understanding of equity capital markets, transaction mechanics, and investor behaviorDemonstrated success in managing ECM transactions from pitch to executionExceptional analytical and financial modeling skillsSuperior communication, presentation, and relationship-building capabilitiesComfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teamsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent projectsWork Authorization Requirement:This position is not eligible for via sponsorship, including H-1B, CPT, OPT, or any other employment-based sponsorship.
