Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor

RayzeBio seeks a Quality Control Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor to oversee GMP microbiology testing for radiopharmaceutical manufacturing in Indianapolis. The role involves supervising daily QC activities including sterility, bioburden, and endotoxin testing, while ensuring regulatory compliance, data integrity, and staff development. The position requires working with ionizing radiation and hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily QC Microbiology activities including sterility, bioburden, endotoxin testing
Review and verify microbiological data, logbooks, and records for accuracy and integrity
Ensure all laboratory testing complies with approved SOPs, validated methods, regulations
Supervise, mentor, and develop QC Microbiology analysts and technicians
Partner with Manufacturing, QA, and Radiation Safety to support production and product release

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related life science discipline
Minimum 5+ years QC Microbiology experience in cGMP-regulated environment
Strong knowledge of cGMP, USP standards, and data integrity principles
Demonstrated leadership and personnel management capabilities
Ability to investigate microbiological excursions using risk-based approaches
Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred
Experience with sterile manufacturing or radiopharmaceutical operations highly desirable

Compensation: $107,904-$130,754 base
