Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings to craft personalized treatment plans for patients
• Deliver hands-on therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families in understanding therapy goals, discharge plans, and practical home exercises
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to facility standards and regulations
• Engage in multidisciplinary team rounds and conferences to promote integrated care for patients

Education

• Earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric) are a bonus but not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist is highly desirable
