Electrical Technician

Construction Trades Staffing is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems throughout their operations in Niagara Falls, NY . This is a hands‐on, technical role that supports production operations and ensures equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment up to 480V
• Maintain and repair motors, heaters, rectifiers, lamps, fuses, switches, and power supplies
• Diagnose and repair control systems, including timers, transducers, recorders, and circuit boards
• Utilize PLCs to monitor, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery
• Assist with the installation of PLC‐related components
• Install and lay out electrical wireways, cabinets, and conduit (EMT & PVC)
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration per ISO/TS standards
• Safely operate power tools, man lifts, and forklift trucks
• Follow all safety rules and support company goals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Two‐year degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ladder diagrams
• Experience with AC/DC motors, Powerflex & KB drives, and industrial electrical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
