Summary: Provides food service to patients, guests, or customers. Assists patients with menu selection according to preferences and diet restrictions. Provides daily interaction with patients to ensure a high-quality patient experience. Provides coverage in the absence of the Food Service Coordinator. Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe food production environment. Prepares food or drink items, assembles, and delivers patient trays or catering events. Performs daily cleaning of dishes and work areas. Receives and stores food and supply deliveries using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles and assists with inventory management. Acts as a liaison between patients, guests, physicians, other hospital personnel. Provides training of new team members. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Has cross trained and works with proficiency in three or more areas.
• Education: Nonessential: HS Graduate or Equivalent GED
• Education equivalent experience: Nonessential: Preferred - High School or Equivalent
• Credentials: Nonessential: Food Handler Credential
• Credentials equivalent experience: Nonessential: Preferred - Food Handler Experience
• Experience Specialization: Essential: Six Months Experience
