Quality Analyst

Quality AnalystWe are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Analyst to join our team supporting aviation manufacturing and supply chain operations. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in quality, manufacturing, or aerospace.In this role, you will help ensure products meet quality standards by performing inspections, supporting audits, working with suppliers, and assisting with data tracking and reporting. You will work closely with experienced team members and gain hands-on training in quality systems and processes.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with inspections of parts and materials (incoming, in-process, and final) to ensure they meet quality requirementsUse inspection tools and equipment to perform basic dimensional and functional checksReview drawings, work instructions, and specifications with guidance to verify product requirementsHelp maintain accurate quality records and documentation for traceability and complianceSupport audits by gathering information and helping ensure processes follow company and industry standards (AS9100/ISO)Assist with identifying and documenting nonconforming materials and supporting corrective action effortsWork with suppliers by reviewing documentation, tracking issues, and helping resolve quality concernsHelp track and report quality data, metrics, and trends using Excel and other toolsCollaborate with teams such as manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to support quality and production goalsParticipate in customer and internal meetings as needed to support quality requirementsAssist with inventory checks, receiving inspections, and general warehouse quality activitiesBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or technical training is a plus)1–2 years of Aviation experience in manufacturing, quality, logistics, or a related field (internships or school projects count)Willingness to learn quality systems and processesAbility to read and understand basic technical documents (or willingness to learn)Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and willingness to follow proceduresPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)Coursework or training in manufacturing, engineering, or qualityExposure to quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100Experience with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Familiarity with warehouse or production environmentsBasic understanding of data tracking or reportingPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, sit, or walk for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as neededAbility to perform tasks involving bending, reaching, and repetitive motionsPREFERENCE STATEMENT Preference will be given to Calista shareholders and their descendants and to spouses of Calista shareholders, and to shareholders of other corporations created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, in accordance with Title 43 U.S. Code 1626(g).EEO STATEMENT Additionally, it is our policy to select, place, train and promote the most qualified individuals based upon relevant factors such as work quality, attitude and experience, so as to provide equal employment opportunity for all employees in compliance with applicable local, state and federal laws and without regard to non-work related factors such as race, color, religion/creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, veteran status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity, citizenship, genetic information, or other protected status.
