Responsibilities Under the direction of the Unit Director/Manager, the Vascular Access Nurse assesses and places peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) and routinely manages peripheral IV catheters, PICCs, central venous catheters, and midlines. This role serves as a highly valued resource to educate and enhance the IV skills of the overall nursing staff on a continuing basis and monitors CLABSI data with the Infection Control Nurse. Qualifications Education: Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing Licensure & Certification Florida Registered Nurse License BLS Special Skills and Experience Expertise in venous access Experience in PICC placement preferred VA-BC preferred – expertise with ultrasound guidance Competent with PICC navigation and tip‑location device Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English #J-18808-Ljbffr
