Shift: Day Shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 17:30)

Hours/Week: 40 hours

Employment Type: Full-Time W-2

Certifications Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience: Minimum 2 years in Oncology Nursing

What You'll Do

• Provide direct nursing care for oncology patients across various age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Manage patient symptom treatment and ongoing assessments utilizing the EPIC documentation system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans for complex cancer diagnoses such as head and neck, sarcoma, CNS, thoracic, and pediatric cancers.
• Support patients during treatment processes and assist in symptom management.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility standards.
• Float across different units as needed to support patient care across the clinic.

What You Need

Required:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an oncology clinic setting
• BLS certification
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system

Preferred:

• Certifications such as ONS, OCN, PALS, ACLS
• Experience with pediatric and adult oncology patient populations
• Strong assessment and communication skills
