Job TitleGeneva, AL $17.00hr/paid weekly Monday - Friday | 8:00am-FinishSummary:The primary duty of this position is to assist department performing any combination of clerical duties requiring general knowledge and application of various work methods and procedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist department, performing any combination of clerical duties requiring general knowledge and application of various work methods and procedures.Links inbound containers to CICS and JDA system (including expedite)Resolves all ASN issues in a timely mannerProcesses BOL'sWorks closely with transportation regarding all inbound loads on the ILC yardMonitor and logs all inbound loadsCommunicates with inbound operations regarding all linking ASN and processing issuesPerform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications & PrerequisitesHigh School or GED equivalencyFamiliarity with the Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) binderPossess basic computer skills (Excel & Word)Possess good communication skills (oral & written)General computer skillsCertified in the operation of forkliftsMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays as neededMust be able to manage multiple tasksRequirementsHigh School Diploma and or GED.Working knowledge of Warehouse Management System equipment and basic warehouse familiarityKnowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the distribution/warehouseGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to follow work procedures and safety rulesAbility to set priorities and be able to multi-task with conflicting prioritiesAbility to read, understand, and follow directions/instructionsAbility to work specified shiftsAble to perform simple math calculationsWork EnvironmentOne-hundred percent of work time is spent in a warehouse where temperatures are hot or cold (seasonally)
