Performing manipulative and non-discretionary functions, this position acts as a support system, providing both guidance and education to patients and families.Responsibilities:Perform patient outreach to ensure accurate and timely filling of specialty pharmaceuticalsCollaborate with clinic staff to connect patients with MHS specialty pharmacy resourcesProcess prior authorization (PA) requests from specialty clinicsDetermine patient eligibility and enroll patients in copay assistance and medication assistance programs when appropriateRequirements:Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of WashingtonCompletion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferredMinimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart AssociationAbout Mary Bridge Children'sFor more than 70 years, MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network has cared for children and families across the South Sound. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $78.17 - $105.04 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
