Sales Representative/Paint Estimator

You will receive quality company-generated leads and marketing support, but we are looking for someone who will also prospect, network, develop relationships, follow up consistently, and create opportunities of their own. Compensation & Earning Potential Target First-Year Total Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 Top Performers: $200,000+ Base salary + uncapped commission Performance incentives Health insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays What You Will Own Conduct consultative, on-site sales appointments throughout the Bay Area. Meet with homeowners, property managers, designers, contractors, and commercial decision-makers. Discover the customer's goals, concerns, budget, decision-making process, and timeline. Accurately scope painting projects and prepare clear, professional, project-specific proposals. Technical training is provided. Review project plans, specifications, blueprints, and RFP documents when required. Present proposals confidently and communicate the value of our services. Address customer concerns and objections professionally. Ask for the sale and establish a clear next step on every opportunity. Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through follow-up, referrals, networking, and relationship development. Pursue new residential and commercial business. Participate in bid reviews for larger or more complex commercial opportunities. Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline, activity, and forecast information. Partner closely with estimating, production, and operations to ensure a smooth handoff from sale to production. Represent MB Jessee Painting with professionalism, integrity, and confidence. You May Be Our Person If You... Have a documented record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Have experience in home services, construction, remodeling, roofing, HVAC, windows, flooring, insurance restoration, real estate, property services, B2B sales, or another consultative sales environment. Are motivated by goals, competition, recognition, and uncapped earning potential. Are comfortable discussing budgets, pricing, decision-making, and money directly with customers. Know how to build relationships while still confidently asking for the business. Are persistent and comfortable with rejection. Follow a sales process and consistently follow up until you receive a clear yes or no. Are organized and capable of managing multiple opportunities at different stages of the sales process. Welcome coaching, practice, accountability, and transparent performance expectations. Are comfortable working independently in the field while collaborating closely with the team. Can work a flexible schedule based on customer needs, including occasional early-evening or weekend appointments. Have a valid California driver's license and are able to travel throughout the Bay Area. Preferred Experience The following experience is highly valued: Painting or construction sales Blueprint and plan reading Construction specifications Commercial RFPs and bid preparation Home improvement or remodeling sales Property management or facilities-related sales Experience selling premium services with longer or consultative sales cycles Painting experience is helpful but not required.
