Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not‑for‑profit medical center devoted to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible, quality health care. The Mother Baby Care Unit provides specialized care for postpartum women and newborns, including post‑GYN surgical patients, and offers education, IV therapy, fetal monitoring, and support for high‑risk perinatal care. As a Registered Nursery/Postpartum Nurse you will provide direct patient care and support to physician staff within this unit, using strong communication skills in a team‑oriented environment. Location: Wilcox Medical Center Work Schedule: Rotating – 12 Hours Work Type: Per Diem FTE: 0.475000 Bargaining Unit: Hawaii Nurses Association Exempt: No Req ID: 32812 Pay Range: 47.71 – 68.16 USD per hour Category: Nursing Minimum Qualifications Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NRP CPR cards Experience managing normal and high‑risk laboring patients Preferred Qualifications Completion of NRP within 3 months Completion of S.T.A.B.L.E. course recommended within 6 months Minimum one year recent acute care RN experience in Labor & Delivery Minimum one year experience in Nursery with normal and high‑risk neonatal care SCN/NICU experience preferred Experience with postpartum and gynecologic patients preferred Experience with general med/surg patients preferred Operating room circulating nurse duties preferredImmediate post‑surgical recovery care preferred EOE/AA/Disabled/Vets Hawai‘i Pacific Health offers a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that includes pay and benefits.
