As a vital member of our team, you'll perform housekeeping and cleaning activities with precision and care, following established guidelines to ensure our residents' comfort and safety. Your role is essential in maintaining the high-quality standards, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations that define The Carolina Inn experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the satisfactory and timely completion of assigned cleaning areas according to schedule, contributing to a welcoming and hygienic environment for our residents.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of resident rooms, common areas, dining rooms, activity spaces, hallways, and bathrooms, paying meticulous attention to detail.
• Report equipment/cleaning product needs or malfunctions promptly to ensure seamless operations.
• Perform a variety of tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, disinfecting, washing, polishing, and sanitizing to maintain pristine cleanliness throughout our community.
• Safely and properly mix and use cleaning solutions, adhering to all safety precautions to protect our residents and staff.
• Dispose of trash, relieve laundry staff as needed, clean and disinfect wheelchairs, and prepare rooms for new occupants, ensuring every aspect of our community is cared for with compassion.
• Abide by health and safety regulations, prioritizing the well-being of our residents and staff at all times.
• Perform discharge cleanings and prepare rooms for new occupants, ensuring a seamless transition for our residents.

Education:

• High School Diploma or two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, crawling, using hands to finger, handling or feeling, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, and talking or hearing.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and frequently lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
• Utilize proper lifting and body mechanics to prevent personal injury.

Shifts Available:

• Availability Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:00pm, including every other weekend. 
• Holiday shifts may be required.
