Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic What You’ll Be Doing Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy‑duty diesel equipment Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and compliant with company standards Maintain accurate service records and documentation Collaborate with team members to prioritize and complete work efficiently What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair diesel engines and heavy equipment Proficiency with tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures Strong commitment to safety and preventative maintenance practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to a post‑offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer $26.88 - $35.50 per hour Benefits through the Company for Medical, Dental, and Vision Union Pension Company‑paid vacation and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr Heidelberg Materials North America
