Senior CPU Compiler Engineer - HPC

NVIDIA’s HPC Compiler Team wants to hire a Compiler Developer to join the team building one of the world's most important optimizing compilers. Our products are used to build and parallelize the most meaningful scientific applications in the world for weather modeling, climatology, fluid dynamics and defense. We support real science and scientists throughout the world.What you'll be doing:Designing and implementing new features for high-performance CPUs and GPUs Working with application teams to tackle interesting and meaningful compilation problemsPartnering with team members on projects as related to high-performance computing and optimizations Interacting directly with teams in the open source community What we need to see:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, ECE or related (Ph.D. or Masters preferred) or equivalent experience6+ years experience developing production quality compilers or tools or equivalentProven understanding of compiler internals, front-ends, and optimizersKnowledge of programming fundamentals, especially in C/C++, with a deep understanding of parallel computer architectures and optimizationsWays to stand out from the crowd:Experience with the EDG compiler front end or LLVM is a huge plusFamiliarity with C++, OpenMP, and OpenACC standardsYou have a real passion for compiler developmentHighly motivated with problem solving skillsNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of high technology's most desirable employers.
