Software Engineer

Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable applications that support core business systems. This role is ideal for someone with strong programming fundamentals, a passion for clean architecture, and experience working in cloud-based environments. This is a hybrid position based in New York, NY. Starting at $200,000/year. Software Engineer's Responsibilities and Duties Design, develop, and maintain backend and frontend components using modern programming languages, with Python as the preferred language Build and integrate RESTful APIs and services following best practices for performance and security Work with message queue technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar systems to support asynchronous processing Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions Deploy and support applications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP Software Engineer's Qualifications and Skills Solid programming experience, with strong proficiency in Python and exposure to both backend and frontend technologies Hands-on experience with message queues and event-driven architectures Strong understanding of RESTful architecture and service-based design Experience working in at least one major cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or GCP Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail RightClick is an equal opportunity employer who agrees not to discriminate against any employee or job applicant irrespective of race, color, creed, alienage, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, gender including gender identity, marital status, sexual orientation, citizenship or any other characteristic protected by law.
