Interventional Technologist - IR

Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to perform high-quality procedures supporting a variety of vascular and cardiac interventions. The role involves preparing patients, assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ensuring imaging quality and safety standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities Prepare patients, review medical histories, and support imaging and interventional procedures. Assist with procedures like venograms, embolizations, thrombectomies, stroke interventions, and radioembolizations. Ensure proper equipment setup, select appropriate imaging parameters, and adhere to radiation safety standards. Communicate effectively with patients and support the clinical team in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma, GED, or relevant health science education; ARRT (R) certification or equivalent preferred. Experience in radiologic or cardiac technology is preferred. Current BLS certification; CPR certification must be maintained. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently are essential.
