Forklift Certified Order Picker – Day Shift Positions AvailableInbound Forklift Positions Also AvailablePosition Summary:We are seeking a Lift Certified Order Picker to utilize a forklift to pick orders in an efficient and timely manner, stack product on pallets safely, and put away product in a timely manner.Pay Rate:$20.00/hourSchedule:Day Shift: Monday to Friday 5:00am-1:30pm plus overtime as neededEssential Job Functions:Use an Order Picker (cherry picker, etc.) forklift to accurately pick orders in a timely manner.Stack product on pallets properly and safely.Identify and locate which product is ready to be put away on shelves – make sure it is batched and complete.Put product away in a timely manner.Follow proper processes and procedures.Always consider safety for yourself and others.Utilize good communication, including intra-task communication such as placarding.Perform daily safety check on equipment.Cross train in other departments when time allows.Education/License Requirements:Highschool Completion / GED or equivalent General Experience Requirements: Supply chain and logistics experience preferred Job/Physical Requirements:Basic reading and PC skillsMust be able to write legiblyLifting up to 10 pounds on a constant basis, frequently 26-50 poundsCarrying up to 50 pounds occasionallyStanding and driving 8 hours per dayConstantly performing repetitive hand and wrist movements to drive the forkliftFrequent pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching above the shoulder, and squattingOccasional walking, balancing, and forearm rotationWork around fork-lifts and other miscellaneous warehouse equipmentExposure to noise, fumes, hot and cold temperaturesMust be team oriented and detail orientedMust be able to work overtime (10-12 hour shifts) during peak periodsUse hands to grip forklift controls and boxes of productWhat We Offer:Competitive base salary with Next Day Pay.Paid Time Off policy.Company provided life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and paid parental leave.Health, vision, and dental insurance options with low employee contributions.Optional supplemental life insurance, pet insurance, and accident & critical illness insurance offered at a group discount rate.401(k).Unlimited access to our award-winning online fitness, and wellness program.A great place to work, fast-paced, with terrific career growth.The statements in this job description are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this work.
