About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Piccolo Trattoria as a Banquet Catering Event Server! In this exciting role, you'll play a key part in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests during special events and celebrations.
- Set up and break down banquet rooms for events, ensuring an inviting atmosphere.
- Serve food and beverages to guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist with menu planning and selection to meet client needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas during events.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and event coordinators.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout the event.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Previous experience in catering or event service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have valid food handling certification.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate various event times.
