Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in related field as required by individual clients
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Med Tech
• BLS certification
• 2+ years experience
• Experience with Sysmex XN-1000, Siemens CA-660, Siemens Dimension EXL, ortho manual gel, and sofia
• Experience in hematology, chemistry, UA, blood bank, and Gram stains

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Preferred schedule includes Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
• No call
• No floating
• Block scheduling may be requested with submission
• Scrubs: red top with black bottoms
• EMR: MEDHOST / AS-400
