Operations Manager

Operations Manager -- Construction RestorationPuroClean of Charleston is rebuilding a Charleston restoration operation with a high bar for execution and ethics. This role is for a proven restoration operator who can lead teams, drive quality, and run tight operations inside the insurance-driven claim cycle. Own day-to-day production operations across mitigation, drying, demolition, mold remediation, and reconstruction coordination. You'll lead technicians/estimators/subs, enforce standards, and ensure jobs move fast, clean, and profitable, without compromising customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn scheduling, dispatch, sequencing, and resource allocationImplement SOPs aligned with restoration best practices/IICRC expectationsTrack KPIs (cycle time, margin, labor productivity, drying performance)Recruit, train, and manage technicians, estimators, and subcontractorsSet performance standards and coach skill development (equipment, safety, documentation)Conduct site walkthroughs, QC checks, and job post-mortemsEnsure complete job documentation (photos, moisture mapping, measurements, scope support)Partner with estimating on supplements and adjuster/TPA coordinationEnforce PPE and jobsite safety disciplineEnsure professional communication throughout the job lifecycleSupport complex claim conversations as neededControl labor/sub costs, equipment utilization, and job marginsIdentify supplementation opportunities and support monthly performance reviewsQualifications7 or more years of restoration operations experience (water/mold/fire; full-service preferred)Strong understanding of claim workflows and operational disciplineComfort leading teams with metrics/KPIs and accountabilityExperience coordinating a rebuild is a major plusCAT surge experience (hurricanes/floods/freezes) a plusValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordWilling to complete a background check upon a conditional offerPay, Benefits & GrowthFull-time, W-2 employment.Base salary + performance bonus potential (target total $80,000 to $125,000+)Bonus based on profitability, cycle time, and KPI performancePerformance-based bonus opportunityPTO/holidays and healthcare options (final details confirmed during hiring)Training/certification support and meaningful autonomy as the operation scalesCompensation: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year"We Build Careers" - Steve White, President and COOWith over 500 locations across North America and Canada, PuroClean is leading the industry in emergency property restoration services, by helping families and businesses overcome the devastating setbacks caused by water, fire, mold, biohazard, and other conditions resulting in property damage.
