Job Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and detailed medical history reviews
• Aid in the diagnosis and assessment of surgical conditions through careful analysis of imaging and laboratory results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical care plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and distributing surgical instruments during operations
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including managing medications, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education initiatives

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in surgical settings through clinical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Mandatory certifications in BLS and ACLS
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
