Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care as the primary nurse within a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit at a rural Critical Access Hospital
• Function as an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Maintain competency in PCU/IMC/Stepdown level care standards and protocols

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be obtained upon hire)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Must be physically able to safely function at high altitude (approximately 8,000 ft elevation)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown setting
• Experience working in a rural or Critical Access Hospital environment
