Job Title: Duct Installer Schedule: 6am to 2:30pm Pay Rate: $25 - $35/hr Location: Shippensburg, PA

Job Description

This role involves installing, assembling, and fabricating ductwork on a new-construction commercial job site. Candidates must be reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and fabricate ductwork on new-construction commercial job sites.
• Perform accurate layout and measurements for duct installation.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Maintain reliable transportation to and from job sites daily.
• Utilize own tools and required PPE for daily tasks.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC duct installation.
• Ability to perform accurate layout and measurements.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
• Own basic hand tools and required PPE.
• Sheet metal, duct work, blueprint interpretation, duct installation, and sheet metal fabrication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with hand and power tools such as snips, drills, shears, and crimpers.
• Experience hanging duct, including spiral, rectangular, and flex.
• Knowledge of SMACNA standards.
• Ability to work at heights using lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and team communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shippensburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Shippensburg,PA.
