We're hiring for a Facility Maintenance Technician for our client in Southwest Houston, TX! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician
Location: Houston, TX 77072
Pay: $28-30/hr
Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Training will be M-F 8am-5pm until complete)
Duration: Temp to Hire
Description of Duties:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and data center equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems up to 480V.
• Maintain and service HVAC systems, including diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues.
• Assist with testing, monitoring, and maintaining critical infrastructure equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Respond to equipment alarms and facility-related issues in a timely manner.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
Requirements:
• Previous facility maintenance experience required.
• Data center maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and troubleshooting up to 480 volts.
• Experience maintaining and repairing HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
