Position Description Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver offering competitive weekly pay, exceptional benefits, and a rewarding driving career. Expected pay is $1505 or more per week. Compensation and Pay Structure Weekly Pay for Drivers Pay Structure: $0.65 per mile with an estimated 2200 miles per week Stop Pay: $25.00 per stop for an average of 6 stops weekly 3-4 Layovers per week Comprehensive Training Provided Work Schedule: Sunday to Friday Dispatch Time: Between 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM Routes & Equipment Regional Deliveries to VA, PA, MD, OH, CT, NJ, ME, DE, NC, & NY (excluding NYC) Tractor Type: Sleeper with Refrigerators and Inverters Trailer Type: 53' Dry Van & Reefer Freight: No Touch - Food Goods Hazmat Endorsements Preferred We reimburse costs and offer training for endorsements Truck & Maintenance Our trucks are 36 months or newer and include 24/7 Roadside Maintenance. Company drivers can refuel at over 800 Maintenance Facilities across the country. Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Pass a Ryder Drug Test Pass a comprehensive Background and Motor Vehicle check Pass a DOT Physical Pass a Ryder Road Test Hold a valid CDL with appropriate endorsements Verifiable Class A experience in a tractor-trailer or similar vehicle: Minimum 9 months experience within the last 3 years, OR 2 years of experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years of experience within the last 10 years Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and regulations Additional Screening Additional screening may be necessary for some roles, including employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check; and/or any background requirements from our customers.
